Now, you may feel that my being locked in the hold of a ship for an extended period would be good for Scotland - I'm not saying that I disagree - but, in this instance, please help me escape my captors...if only to help raise cash to assist local kids and young people to fulfil their potential.

I'm being Captured on the Tay by a gang of young pirates and held in the hold of the Frigate Unicorn on the River Tay in Dundee. It's during a special event organised by Action for Children, a wonderful charity of which I am very fond. I'd really appreciate it if you would help raise the ransom to allow my safe release! I'll be press ganged into naval service on September 18th, but you can donate now!
