The Alicia Boparai Foundation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people affected by life limiting illness. Many young people are faced with life limiting illnesses which destroy the lives of not only, the person affected, but also their family and friends.

Story

.......

I'm basically running around the UK doing about 170 miles of events between August and September. The longest one being a 60 mile ultra-marathon over the Peak District at the end of August.

There's also Equinox24 which is as many 6 mile / 10km loops as you can complete in 24 hours, I'm aiming for a minimum of 10 with a hopeful total of 15

Honourable mentions to the Great North Run and Kielder Marathon too

Any donations / shares of this post would be brilliant and very much appreciated :)

Hi,

I'm not very good at this stuff but over the next couple months I'll be doing, as a bit of a fat bloke, a few events to raise money for the Alicia
Boparia Foundation which you can read about here:

http://www.aliciaboparai.co.uk/

All funds raised from this site will go to The Alicia Boparai Foundation, a charity set up by Alicia's family. The charity aims to help children and young people with a life-threatening or terminal illness.

Registered Charity No 1155050

I'll be doing the following events -

Gateshead Trail 10k
Ultra Tour Of The Peak District 60 Miler
The Great North Run

Equinox 24 (10 Laps Minimum)
Kielder Marathon

For approximately 170 miles of coverage on foot over various events in the UK.

If I could get a quid per mile I'd be ecstatic and £500 would be brilliant! I'm hoping to be able to match any donations up to about £150

Thanks for reading, Darren
