Fundraising for Plan International UK
Story
Please support me and Plan International as I take on the legendary Sir Mo Farah in the London Marathon on 2 October! (Update - Mo couldn't take the pressure and has dropped out.....)
It's up to ME to go as fast as MO (he'll actually be almost twice as fast as me but I like to pretend we're racing one another!) but I'm relying on YOU to help me meet my fundraising goals by sponsoring me. I will be matching donations on a £ for £ basis up to £5,000 (i.e. if my friends, family and colleagues donate £5,000 I will also donate £5,000).
Plan International are active in promoting children’s rights in some of the poorest countries in the world, and Miriam and I have been supporting this wonderful charity for around fifteen years - ever since our oldest child Abigail started nursery school and we decided to support the education of a number of children in the developing world. We hope that through this support that other children can benefit from the educational opportunities that we take for granted with our own children.
