I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in September 2017.  To say I was shocked is an understatement!  I thought I was invincible, strong, fit, healthy, active & very independent.  Cancer can affect anyone, any time,  at any age!  Two surgeries and some radioactive iodine treatment later, I'm ok.  I will be ok.  I wanted to help raise awareness for this particular cancer as I didn't think it could happen to me......                                                       Our local children's hospice Claire House is also a cause very close to my heart, they too deal with cancer (amongst many other illnesses) every single day , and support the children, and their families at times of unbelievable stress, worry & heartache.  Any support for these 2 fabulous charities would be amazeballs!!    Deb xxxx
