Story
Melissa's story:
Loros has always had a place in my heart. In 2010 my nan has respite in there for a few weeks after a fall resulting in a broken hip. My nan was really poorly but with the care given from all the magnificent staff they helped nan on her road to recovery. She ended up returning home but sadly in Dec 2011 she fell again so returned to Loros, where she lived her final days and passed away. The staff and team were second to none, my nan received wonderful care and all relatives too! I cannot thank them enough for what they did for my nan and family. 6 months after my nan passed away I worked with the Loros team as a HCA as my company had been given a report contract for staffing, I must say in the 4 weeks I was there working with the wonderful team it was nice to see the other side of things. It gave me an insight as to how hard the staff worked and gave it their all regardless of any situation. Therefore if I could give back just a few pounds to Loros for what they have done for us that's nothing. So please family and friends support myself and Debbie in our Twilight Walk because one day you never know when yourself or your friends and family will need the same outstanding care and service we received by Loros. They are amazing and deserve something back.
Debbie's Story:
Loros has always been close to my mums heart every since they took great care for her Grandma, my Great Grandma. They were a huge support for my family especially my mum when she needed it the most and my Great Grandma. Loros were there from start to finish and never once failed on giving second to non support and care throughout. They gave my Great Grandma the best quality of life they could during her final days but also supported everyone in the family who needed them too. Therefore due to them always being close to my mums heart, and mine I would like to give a little something back to say a thank you for their support. My family will forever be in their debt but giving a little something back is just a small contribution we wish to do to say thank you. So please help me and Melissa raise some money if just £1 for this amazing charity.
Thank you from us both :) we do really appreciate your support.
xx
