My mum was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer in August 2018.

I didn't know anything about Breast cancer, the treatment or the impact it was going to have on me and my family.

My Mum was very poorly with the chemotherapy treatment and was admitted to Christie's 5 times with severe side effects. The chemo was awful for my mum, but it worked and thankfully the cancer has now gone. My mum still has to have further treatment but is on the road to recovery. Her strength of character and the team at Christie's are helping her beat this horrendous disease.

The doctors acted really quickly and the nurses were  amazing. I have great admiration, Praise and respect for the team at Christie's and I would like to show my appreciation by raising money to assist them with further funding and research into breast cancer.
