We support the growing number of people in and around Milton Keynes affected by a life-limiting illness. We give our patients and their loved ones specialist, personalised care - free of charge. Only 13.8% of our costs are met by ongoing NHS funding, so we’re dependent on your support. Thank you.

Story

Next stop: London Sunday 26 April

We did it!  Had a fab time and all the support on the course and at home was amazing.  Thank you everyone for your kind donations.  Now what's next?

Whops forgot Glenn was doing manchester marathon 19 April, completed in 3.45.06.

Next race: Oakley 20 - 29 March, wish us luck.  All done!  Glenn completed in 2 hours 51, Hannah 2 hours 59 and me 3 hours 49.   OMG London is our next big one!

MK Running Festival - 8 March Done! (see below).

What a brilliant Fancy Dress Party.  Hope everyone had a really good time.   The FDP raised over £1,000.

I am totally 'gob smacked' that we have raised so much money so far.  Thanks to everyone who has donated on the web site or in person.

Read the story below for updates on our training.

Glenn and Hannah got a place in the London ballot and I applied to Willen Hospice so I could run it too!  I managed to get a place and we all want to raise money for Willen.

Willen Hospice is close to my heart as we lost a loved one on MK marathon day in 2012.  Glenn was running.  It was the day I decided I needed to run too!

Training has started, getting the miles in and more core! Our first proper training run was very icy.  10 Mile race done in St Albans all going well so far.  Next race a hilly  half marathon in Torremolinos on 1st February.

Completed Torremolinos very hilly but a great race.  Next big race 20 miles at MK Festival of Running on 8th March.

Running festival MK 20 miles in the bag for Hannah and I.  Hannah just of 3 hours me just of 4!  20 miles is a long way but made it round with a little moaning and walking.  Training does really help as I can still walk ok! Unfortunately Glenn had been poorly so swapped to do the 10k. He was disappointed he couldn't do the 20 but the right decision, he's still coughing.

Next race: Oakley 20 mikes 29 March.  Wish us luck.
