Snarestone Panto supports BE MORE BONOBO for Twycross Zoo

deborah evans is raising money for Twycross Zoo - East Midland Zoological Society

Snarestone Pantomime · 3 April 2021

We have been failed by the flawed criteria of the Government's £100million Zoo Fund and so, we must call on our loyal supporters once more to help us today so we can continue our vital conservation work.

Story

Snarestone Panto may have had to lock the doors to its audience this year due to lockdown, but the show must go on, so we moved on to zoom and had a ball.

Twycross zoo also had to close its doors, and lost its customers and most of its income.

At Snarestone Panto, our cast aged 3 - 86 share many of the characteristics of the great apes - we are a loving, caring, supportive community that uses gestures to show how we feel. The Bonobos are however probably better actors.

We are truly amateur, very enthusiastic, and really do give it our all.  Our audiences come back year after year for a few hours of escapism and laughter. We don’t pretend to be perfect.

We couldn’t sell tickets this year, so if you have enjoyed our Panto, please give a little (or a lot) to this excellent cause.

Lockdown?

It’s behind you.......

Oh no it ISNT.....

Oh yes it is........

We can but hope!
