Over the last few years I have dealt with a lot of loss through the endings of relationships, the death of a family member a 4 pets, 2 of which battled with life threatening illness. Since October 2017 I have been battling myself with anxiety and depression, even suicidal at a point

When I hit my all time low after over 18 months of suffering in silence, I finally snapped and realised that I need to get help. I opened up to my parents who were shocked to find out that I was that bad, and after telling the doctor that I didn't want medical help, he suggested getting in touch with a team that offers counselling

Within the last 6 or so months of seeing a case worker and now my councillor, I am in a far better place both mentally and emotionally. It has been a hard journey but I couldn't of done it without the support of the team from Stockport Woman's Centre and my family, especially my mum

Stockport Woman's Centre is charity based, and I would love to give back to those who have helped me. I would be forever grateful for any support that can be shown
