Bowel Cancer UK - Spring Step London · 2 April 2011 ·

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

My daughter Gabriella (aged 6) and I will be taking part in Bowel Cancer UK's Spring Step Walk on 2nd April in Hyde Park.  As Chief Executive of Bowel Cancer UK I can testify to the charity's excellent work and the passion and commitment of all our staff.

Bowel Cancer UK is a small charity but is unashamedly ambitious because this matters.  Too many people are dying from a disease that is both treatable and curable if it is diagnosed early.   My father, Gabriella's grandfather, Michael Anderson, died from bowel cancer nearly 4 years ago and we still miss him very much.  So we are walking for Bowel Cancer UK in order to help the charity raise awareness of the disease and hopefully stop other families going through the same terrible experience.

Please sponsor us.

Thank you

Deborah (and Gabriella)
