6th London Legal sponsored walk · 17 May 2010 ·

The London Legal Support Trust supports the work of social welfare legal centres in London and the Home Counties. Funds raised are targeted to assist requests for help from the centres. This financial aid helps the legal centres overcome funding crises, develop new services, support appeals and improve their premises.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will be walking in the 6th London Legal sponsored walk on May 17th to raise funds for North Kensington Law Centre. All funds received from this page by London Legal Resource Project will be donated to the law centre without deduction.

This is the oldest law centre in the country and we know from our pro bono work there what a good job they do in helping the most disadvantaged people in the area. They provide free legal help with matters such as housing, debt, benefits and employment. The need for this help has increased quickly over the past year but of course funds to carry out the work have not.

Please help us to support the law centre.

Dechert trainees, Ed Holmes, Lydia Hutchinson, Amy Grammer, Jaimee Bickle, Lizzie Freeth, Rachel Phillips and Victoria Fitzpatrick are also doing this walk in aid of Refugee and Migrant Justice.  If you would like to sponsor RMJ, then please visit the just giving page at http://www.justgiving.com/Refugee-and-Migrant-Justice

This charity does vital work in helping asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants and are a cause worthy of your support.
