I'm running 3 marathons in aid of abused women (and possibly their children) who are often locked into abusive relationships with nowhere else to go. We never know what goes on behind closed doors, and whilst thankfully never witnessing it myself, we all know it goes on. Women, whilst not a minority, have been marginalised and victimised by many cultures since time began. Without them, we wouldn't be here.
