Dee was taken from us at the age of 35. Dee was diagnosed with Metastatic Bile duct cancer in early January 2019 and later passed on in hospital on 1st March 2019. Dee was an incredibly beautiful, strong, funny woman who was loved unconditionally as a wife, mother to Ellis (2yrs), daughter, sister, friend and colleague to so many. Dee loved so many things in life including art and craft, the outdoors, her family/friends and had everything to live for . We still can't believe this has happened and so quickly. 

Dee suffered since April 2018 with chronic pains and it was very difficult for her to get an early diagnosis despite endless visits to numerous healthcare professionals. It is a cancer that results in more deaths in the UK than cervical cancer but has been very poorly researched . Recently this cancer is being looked at with a view to being able to gain early detection which would result in a far better outcome and our chosen charity is at the forefront of this

We simply do not want this to happen to others and to support this, the money we raise will go to the only bile duct cancer charity (AMMF). They do amazing work to help create awareness and advance understanding of the cancer and treatments. Bile duct cancer can also be described as a silent killer and it doesn't discriminate.
