On Sunday 2nd of October I will be running the London marathon for Battersea Dogs and Cats. After I was (un) lucky enough to get a place through the ballot, the only thing that has got me through my training runs is the animalsI met when I visited their rescue home. This is a charity that is close to my heart, after having dogs all my life I want to give other animals the opportunity to be loved and cared for.

If you know me running is not my thing & if you don’t running is not my thing. Whilst I am looking forward to my weekend lie ins again I will give this my best shot and aim to get over the finish line in one piece
