As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

DeltaNet is delighted to have selected Rainbows as our corporate charity partner; our aim is to raise £10,000 for the charity in 2015!

For the last 20 years Rainbows, the only hospice for children and young people in the East Midlands, has offered a place where children with terminal and life-limiting conditions can go for support that cannot be found anywhere else. Rainbows’opens its doors and hearts to more than 300 children and their families every year, helping them to have fun and really enjoy life by offering a range of facilities including, specialist multi-sensory facilities, adapted accommodation, hydrotherapy pool and a music room to name a few.

As part of our fundraising we have already sent 4 brave volunteers to take on the Ben Nevis Challenge, convinced three team members with a fear of heights to scale the roof of The O2, sent a crazy volunteer to take on Tough Mudder, sent a team to pack bags at a local supermarket, washed cars, baked cakes, donated our annual Christmas party to the cause and formed a band who in just five weeks learned 15 songs and played their first gig,
