Becoming rather nervous and hoping that carbo loading includes late night crunchie bars.
A year ago I'd never run a single mile in my life and couldn't stand the thought of it. My brother's have impressively completed marathons and triathlons and I've barely done anything more strenuous than a pilates class. So here goes. I've been trying to add a mile a month and in November i managed a 10K, slowly to begin with then, as I realised the joy of overtaking, a bit faster.
Not sure if I'll manage the 13 miles, my body doesnt seem to like the onslought much, i progress from sore right foot to sore left foot to injured knee, but at least the injuries keep changing and I'm going to try. I'm supporting North West Cancer Research, a charity my father has worked with for some years funding invaluable research. Please help, each £1 makes a difference.

PS If you revisit this site I might have worked out how to make the photo upright...

Rather nervous about the next training run. Last week's 11 miles left me crawling home to bed and letting the children feed themselves supper (yes that ll be chocolate).
