Fundraising for Llamau
Story
( I have no particular fundraising target, would just like to raise as much for Llamau as possible)
Welcome to my biggest challenge yet, Ironman Wales, which takes place on 9 September 2018.
Ironman Wales is regarded as one of the toughest endurance races out there thanks to the Pembrokeshire hills.
It comprises of a 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run. If you're interested here is the link to the course routes.

I entered the world of triathlon about 3 years ago with no bike experience, unable to swim with my head under the water but thankfully recent marathon success.
It has certainly been a journey, of which I have physically and mentally pushed myself to limit and met loads of inspirational people along the way.
This year has been busy building up to Ironman Wales, I have taken part in the following events:

I would like to support one of my work's chosen charities for this year, Llamau. Llamau believe that we all have the right to fulfil our potential, and to feel safe and secure, despite the difficult circumstances we sometimes face.
Llamau support the most vulnerable young people and women, working with those most at risk - care leavers, people who have been involved with the criminal justice system, people who have experienced domestic abuse and people who have had chaotic and disadvantaged lifestyles. They provide them with high levels of individual support to help them gain the skills necessary for them to live independent and purposeful lives in their communities.
