Hicap works at the sharp end regularly to make sure that needs are met. They visit Nepal at least once a year working towards completing real objectives working with real families, real children. They ensure that each project is brought to fruition and they make a real difference to lives.

Story

This is my first attempt at a Triathlon and I am looking forward to it. The Olympic distance will certainly be a challenge and be a good test of endurance, fingers crossed that I can stay injury free.

For those that don't know the event consists of 3 disciplines. Swim (1500m) Bike (40K) Run (10k). I promised my friend Freda that when I did my next charity event I would raise funds for Hi-Cap.

Hi-Cap UK was set up in October 2005 by Freda Casagrande and received registration from the Charities Commission in July 2006. Hi-Cap UK work in remote areas that are very poor and receive little or no assistance.

Hi-Cap UK is dedicated to the relief of sickness and the promotion of good health for the children and adults of the Nepalese region of Lomanthang and Mustang area, whilst always respecting and helping to retain their culture.
