As CEO for Everton in the Community and Deputy CEO for Everton Football Club, I am delighted to be taking part in the upcoming CEO Sleepout at Goodison Park.

I will be joined on the night by Rachael Sutton and Katie West, staff within my Operations team at Everton, and together we are proud to do our part in tackling homelessness and poverty throughout our city.

We have a member of staff within our charity, Lee Johnson, who use to be living on the streets and sleeping rough. With the help and support of Everton in the Community and the Whitechapel Centre he has turned his life around. I have worked with Lee for the last five years and felt compelled to take part in this sleepout for him and raise funds that will help give others the opportunities he has had.

Sponsorship received will enable Everton in the Community, Church Urban Fund and Together Liverpool to develop programmes to help us even further in the fight against poverty and homelessness.
