We support families after a death on duty to help rebuild their shattered lives

Story

2020 was a difficult year for all charities that had to stop many fundraising events due to the pandemic so we, a group of retired Police Women are joining forces to raise funds for a charity that we support CARE OF POLICE SURVIVORS.

Myself, ANNA BIRD, HEATHER PILKINGTON, JANINE PEEL, HILARY SHAW, ROZ RANDALL, HELEN TIERNEY, DENISE CLARKE, LYNN FORD, CINDY DEAN-BALLARD   and PAULA KELLY  along with Retired male colleagues Messers DEAN, GILBERT AND CLARKE have pledged for the month of January to give up either our Gin or Sins for this worthy cause.

As past colleagues we are fortunate to be part of the wider Police Family, share friendship and we are privileged to have known and worked with some of the finest Officers from the West Midlands Police who paid the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in the line of duty.

Many of the families of these Fallen Officers, including myself benefit from the never ending support of CARE OF POLICE SURVIVORS .

We would be most appreciative if you would consider supporting our endeavours to raise some funds for COPS ... every kind gesture of support will help our charity to keep up its much needed work.

COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members rebuild their shattered lives. We are all one big family."Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by loss and this support is priceless.
