Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July 2013 my husband was working as the Vice President of an Insurance Company in Saudi Arabia and sustained a Traumatic Head Injury. We have no idea how it happened but our guess is he slipped getting out the shower and banged his head. This was the start of the worst year of our life while he struggled to recover both mentally and physically. He had no memory and was very aggressive and spent nearly 9 months in Rehab. I had to teach him everything again how to dress how to shower how to use a bank card ..everything we take for granted. Our turning point was when I started to teach him how to run again he went from been in a wheelchair in July to running his local parkrun at the end of October. I continue to promote Headway because of the devastation it causes to families and if my fundraising can help a family have something like a holiday I will feel running the marathon will have been worth it.
