DAWGS receives no statutory funding, nor do they receive the financial support enjoyed by other, larger organisations.

Instead, they rely on donations, legacy income, events and other fundraising efforts including income from their charity shop, to fund their re-homing service, veterinary care, kennelling, training and other vital services that ensure they can give all dogs coming to them the chance of a new start in a loving new home.
