I know I have promised not to run any more marathons but several friends & my son Harry have persuaded me to have one final go at it,so this REALLY will be my 7th & final one!!!

I am delighted to be running on behalf of the Leonard Cheshire Disability charity which is the UK's leading charity supporting disabled people not only here in the UK but also in 54 countries around the world.

I really want to try to help Leonard Cheshire, in a very small way, achieve their goals and beliefs namely that disabled people should have the freedom to live their lives the way they choose - with the opportunity and support to live independently, contribute economically and participate fully in society.

These goals are achieved by providing far more than social care. Leonard Cheshire delivers innovative services helping disabled people find and stay in employment, build confidence through the provision of information, advice and guidance, and breaking down barriers through access to computers & adapted IT equipment.

All of this needs constant funding & support so that is why I have dusted down my trainers & Lycra, started pounding the lanes & walks in lovely Snape driven by the goal of completing my 7th & final marathon & raising as much money for Leonard Cheshire as possible.
