Instead of flowers, the family would be delighted if you donated to Derek’s favourite charity the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

Derek spent many years fundraising for this important emergency service on the Isle of Wight.

The Lifeboat Fund is an official charity of the Civil Service and also receives donations from Royal Mail and BT staff. The Fund supports the work of the RNLI by raising money to buy new lifeboats, equipment and training for crew. There are 12 Lifeboat Fund lifeboats in the RNLI fleet.
