I've decided to take on this challenge which is way further than I've ever run before and really hope to be able to complete the distance without walking.

I've picked this particular charity as its currently where  friends of mine, the Fyvies, are staying while their 12 year old son Michael recovers in Yorkhill Children's Hospital Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Michael is thankfully now making good progress but still has a long road to recovery with the massive efforts and help from the staff, expertise and life-saving equipment at Yorhill Hospital.
