Quinn, or The Mighty Quinn as she is now known, has been on an alternative therapy journey for 3 years to fulfil her potential in life as a result of her brain injury at birth. In that time Quinn has learnt to sit, roll, communicate using sign language, no longer requires a ventilator and her o2 requirements have reduced significantly. SCT has been pivotal in Quinn’s progress and her parents believe this therapy is the catalyst to maximise the effect of other therapies. The plan is for Quinn to have SCT each year and as much intensive afterwards to ensure she continues to progress and achieve the best quality of life possible. 

The Derwent Mission has started the virtual journey from Altrincham (office location) to Boulder, Colorado where Quinn will have SCT in April.
