All of us have been affected by cancer in some way. There is not one person alive today who hasn't been affected in some way by this dreadful disease. Some more than others. Too many family members, friends and people we admire have suffered.

But we are fighting back and Cancer Research UK is at the forefront of leading that fight. More and more people are beating cancer than ever before but we must keep battling.

That's why I have decided to run the London Marathon 2016 for Cancer Research UK. I decided to do something positive to try and increase the number of people who are winners in the battle against cancer.
