Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dhirubhai Mavjibhai was born in India in a village called Bagumra in the state of Gujarat. His eyesight started to worsen at eight years of age but glasses were out of the question due to the cost.  Papa got his first glasses at aged 17.  Papa received a scholarship to go college but there was no money so he left college to fulfil his duty to the family.  Papa came to the UK in 1954 and sadly his eyesight deteriorated over the years until he could no longer see and read his favourite newspaper the Garavi Gujarat.

Dhirubhai loved all his family and friends in England, India and USA.
