Story

Hi to all you fabulous people who raised an amazing amount of money in only 6 days in memory of Neil. The picture is just before the warm up with all those amazing people wearing pink flashing bunny ears raising money in memory of their loved ones.

We made for great entertainment Friday night for passers by who waved and beeped their horns cheering us on. It must have been an interesting sight seeing a snake of flashing pink bunny ears and pink t-shirts weaving its way round the streets.

Seeing so many people who have lost people they love puts our lives into perspective. It's too short and we all need to do the things that we dream of now. Don't wait live and love xxx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday night 21st June I will be walking with Neils wfe Fran his daughter Laura and sister in law Claudia to raise much needed money for the hospice. Having known Neil since I was 9 years old I have a million memories to fall back on but that does not replace the hugh hole he has left in many peoples lifes. Over the last 6 months my path has come in contact with local hospices on too many occasions, my initial responce was one of negativity feeling that it would be a very depresssing expereince for everyone but I was wrong. The work the staff and volunteers do and the support they give is wonderful and very supportive and they make everything as positive as they can during such a hard time in everyone's lives.

I find it amazng to think that such an important place does not recieve any statatory funding and they have to relie soley on money raised and donated to them.

So in memeory of Neil, Frank and Cynth please dig deep and help me raise money for a very important charity that sadly we will all come in contact with at some time in our lives.

and it is so easy to donate ....... much love Di
