Diamondbacks' Church Sleepover for Crisis

Diamondbacks are having a sponsored sleep over at St Peter's Church on Friday 12th November 2010.
We are a youth group from St Peter's Church Woolley for children and young people aged from 10 to 16.
At Diamondbacks we feel that homelessness is a very important issue, particularly in the lead up to Christmas. We have decided to organise a sponsored sleep over for Crisis, the charity for single homeless people in the UK. We hope that about 20 of our group and their parents will take part. Over the evening, we will be thinking about homelessness and what life could be like without most of the home comforts we usually take for granted.
On Sunday 28th November 2010 at 7 pm, we are holding an 'Alternative' Advent Service where we plan to use what we have learned about homelessness and share our experiences through visual images, active participation and music. You are welcome to join us.
