Hi everyone as some of you know my sister Brenda attends hansel twice a week. She has an amazing support team that helps her and encourages her to do things she enjoys in a safe environment. Brenda has had severe epilepsy since she was 2. Over the years as you can imagine she has suffered some brain damage as a result of so many seizures. But when she is well she is able to thrive in a place like day support at hansel as well as giving my mum a well needed break! She is also able to have some respite. This is amazing as Brenda needs some time to have her own independence which then allows my mum and the rest of the family a wee break at the same time. Brenda inspired me to try to raise some funds as she does what she can in her own way to raise funds which I just thought well why don't we!! Please help in anyway you can thanks so much xx
Please read below a short paragraph explaining a little of hansel work.
Hansel assists people with additional support needs, and their families, to make the most of life each and every day.Our approach is to deliver the right support for an individual to feel empowered, to find their voice, and experience equality, choice, dignity and respect. Our aim is to give each individual we support the freedom to be heard, freedom of choice and the freedom to live.Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps us to give each person we assist the freedom to live the life they choose. Thank you.
