Blenheim Triathlon 2013 · 8 June 2013 to 9 June 2013 ·

New End Primary School is a two form entry community school in the heart of Hampstead, NW London. We have a hugely diverse community with children from around the world speaking many, many different languages. The New End School Association exists to raise money to make it even better.

Story

Hi there and thanks for making it to this my JustGiving page. I am slightly daunted but determined to do this Triathlon thing. I signed up before i fully realised what it was going to be like :swimming 750m, running 5k and cycling 20k. and they call it a Sprint ! I just wanna finish....but its also a great opportunity to raise much needed funds for New End Primary School. Daisy and Stan both go there. New End School opened in 1906 and is a lovely Grade 2 listed building, but its in need of major building works - above all creating a bigger school hall. Whilst I think Camden ought to be paying for all of it, they are not, of course, and so we the parents and staff are gearing up and hope to raise the rest of the money.

I am also supporting Leukemia & Lymphoma Research who got me on their team for the Triathlon and I will be donating them £400 out of the money I raise.

Donating through JustGiving can be annoying and fiddly but is allegedly secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – and Geoffrey Archer is a novelist. expect an email a week ha ha ! Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity, probably after taking a massive cut. Actually i think its only 5%.  But hey what can you do? Its a way to donate at least and saves me having to come and knock on your door...
