We raise funds to help people in Nepal to have better access to quality healthcare

Story

We are going to be walking 100km in 2 days on 17 and 18th July to raise money to help the people of Nepal.  Until the weekend of April 28th, we had planned to raise money for long-term sustainable development projects in Nepal.  But the terrible earthquake means that relief funding is now critical.

We are still walking, and 100% of money raised will still go to the Britain Nepal Medical Trust.  BNMT is one of the longest serving charities working on the ground in the Himalayan kingdom.  It is now heavily engaged in the relief effort and will continue to support the longer term rehabilitation of affected communities in some of the more remote regions.

BNMT is an organisation known well to all of us.  Please give generously – your money will go direct to local projects and local people.

Our Dash will start in Appledore, Kent on 17th July at 7am and follow a trail along the Royal Military Canal through Rye and on to Hastings, across Pevensey Bay to Eastbourne and then along the South Downs Way arriving in Lewes, East Sussex on the evening of 18 July.

Thank you for your support.

Gillian, Surya, Nicky, Rosie and Paula.
