As you are all aware, Japan’s earthquake and tsunami on 11 March has caused widespread destruction and shocking results. The confirmed death toll from the earthquake and tsunami has now passed 10,000, with 17,440 listed as missing. An estimated half a million people have been made homeless and some 300,000 people remain in evacuation centres or temporary housing.  On top of this it will be some time before the impact of damage caused by the tsunami to the nuclear plants is known, and the rise in radiation levels in drinking water has already caused concern particularly for infants.

We find it impossible to imagine anyone who has not been moved by this devastating disaster and the number of events and fundraisers that are popping up to raise money and awareness has been enlightening and a true testament to humanity.

A group of us have decided to do our bit by getting together and putting on a party at Corsica Studios on April 16th to raise money for the cause - and what a party it’s shaping up to be!

Room 1
Horse Meat Disco: Jim Stanton, Luke Howard, James Hillard, Severino Panzetta
and
Bad Passion Project: Chris Stoker, Andy Bainbridge, Dan Mitchell

Cabaret from the House of Downlow hosted by Ingenue saint John including FERAL aka MC KINKY and a plethora of London's underground cabaret and dragarty scene.

Room 2
Idjut Boys
Felix Dickinson
Nick the Record
Gerry Rooney
AD
