Gaelforce Northwest Challenge · 23 June 2012

This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

Challenge Completed

I'm glad to say that I completed the Gaelforce North Challenge in 6 hour 36 minutes.  The weather conditions were not good particularly in the cycling with a very strong head wind plus my bike wasn't properly set up.  But the craic was great and I've decided to enter the Gaelforce West Challenge on 18th August.  So you can still contribute to this very worthy charity.  Many thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement.  At time of writing (25 June) I have raised in total including JustGiving £2,400 approx.

"Giving is Loving."

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I must be a little daft at my age to undertake the 64km Gaelforce North Challenge.  I will undertake 15.5km trail and road run; 2km kayaking across Gartan Lake; Cycling to Mount Errigal 24km; Then up and down Mount Errigal 4km and a further 18.5km cycle.  However, it's for a great cause.  So if you can spare anything at all, that would be brillant.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
