Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will be running the 10k ( after 12 months of lockdown 😜)  to try and raise money and awareness for Corpal and for conditions associated with the Corpus Callosum. Jesse has Isolated Agenisis of the Corpus Callosum, which means he is missing the CC with no other associated conditions. His prognosis is relatively unknown and on a vast spectrum, as the research into the condition is relatively new however for now, Jesse is smashing his milestones  🙌.

The disorder is only very recently being picked up in the womb due to the advancement in science, technology and skill of the sonographer. The Corpus Callosum is the “super highway” that connects both hemispheres of the brain and is responsible for communicating  across the regions in the brain and from brain to body. Its a complex structure and the biggest structure  in the brain,  without it the brain has to find other  ways of working. Bringing physical and social and emotional difficulties. All the money raised will go directly to the charity who are supporting families, raising awareness in the medical world and in education so hopefully by the the time Jesse and children like him go  to school the adults around him will know more about it and know how to be there for him and meet his needs ❤️x

Thank for you all your support
