Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am hitting the big 50 this year and am having a party with all my favourite folk. People have started to ask me if there is something I would like as a gift. I started to think about this. I am so lucky and have everything I could ever want or need and so much more so I thought about asking for donations to a charity instead. Anyone who knows me knows how much me and Phil and Charlotte and Lizzie love Labradors. Our 2 beautiful boys Mac and Scooby were both rescues through Labrador Rescue South East and Central. They gave us so much love and enjoyment and we miss them so much. I thought it would be nice to support this fantastic charity. The charity is run by volunteers (I was a helper with them 2003-2008) and they strive to successfully rehome Labradors with the most suitable people for them. It involves a lot of work and energy but they do it remarkably well! Sometimes a Labrador may need to go into kennels for a little while or need a bit of training one to one which of course costs money. Sometimes a Labrador may need rehoming that needs ongoing health care which can put people off adopting because of the expense. The charity will try to help or cover these costs in the endeavour to find the right person/people for the dog. They need all the help they can get so please think about making a donation to help this fantastic charity in memory of our beautiful boys Mac and Scooby xx
