As you may know, I am celebrating my 40th birthday this year and in order to soften the blow I am trying to do lots of fun things, from family holidays, to breaks with friends, nights out and sporting challenges.
In a moment of madness, I recently signed up to take part in a 3 hour boxathon in aid of Ovarian Cancer. It's a great cause and if that isn't a good enough reason to sponsor me, than surely you must be able to spare some money to support me in light of my temporary insanity agreeing to do such a thing :-)
Every two hours, a woman in the UK dies of ovarian cancer. But
together, we can move towards a future where no woman dies of this
disease. The funds raised from Box2Beat Cancer will ensure that Ovarian Cancer Action, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity, can continue to improve the survival rates of women with ovarian cancer.
