Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in November 2017 and had a mastectomy in January 2018.  I was cared for by the Primrose unit in Derriford.  The staff were amazing and got me through a pretty frightening period of my life.  

I somehow managed to bounce back, got myself in the gym, lost just over 2.5 stone and started playing badminton and netball again.

One of my colleagues at work (Jeff) challenged me to a 100 metre race a couple of months ago and it’s happening on 4th January.  The poster above appeared in our Jobcentre the following week (thank you Tim Oliver!) and word seems to be spreading-no pressure!!

I thought it would be great if something positive could come out of our race and the fact that we are going to make complete idiots of ourselves and we decided to raise money for the Primrose Foundation.
