Story
My crazy Aunt Shona was going to run this alone for my other crazy Aunt who has MS so I decided to run along side her. Not my best idea as I can currently only run about 5K. My auntie Bre has been living with MS for the last 12 years. She is the bravest lady I know. She is in pain every day, does not sleep at night, needs a walking aid to be mobile but always has the biggest smile on her face.
Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments can help to manage the condition and its symptoms.
More than 100,000 people in the UK have MS. In the UK people are most likely to find out they have MS in their thirties, forties and fifties. But the first signs of MS often start years earlier. MS affects almost three times as many women as men.
My aunt is the life and soul of the party. I know she would do this for someone she loved very much if she could. Love you Auntie Bre. meet us at the finish line.
