We provide suicide prevention training to reduce youth suicide

Story

In 2016, three parents who had all lost their teenage sons to suicide, vowed to do all they could to prevent other families suffering similar tragedies. The OLLIE Foundation (One Life Lost is Enough) is a registered charity funding suicide intervention skills training for adults working with young people.Since their registration in 2016 they have trained over 400 people in suicide prevention. Your fundraising helps them train even more people, break down the stigma attached to suicide, and increase awareness!

"Ted and I have come a long way since August 1st 2007, but the pain of Adrian deciding to take his own life still hurts. I don't wish a suicide on anyone's family, it leaves a scar that never fully heals. " D xx

So, to help raise funds for local charity "The Ollie Foundation" we are going to jump, fully clothed (thankfully, I mean....no one needs to see us in our swimming cozzies , do they !) into a freezing cold outdoor pool at St Albans Sub Aqua Club on New Years Day. Beat that for a hangover cure !
