The girls school are once again embarking on the yearly 6 mile sandwalk along Bournemouth beaches in July 2018. The whole school take part in this event with a few other charity benefiting also but Hannah decided to support PHA UK a small charity who help people like us dealing with this chronic and life shortening disease. 

Hannah has been under Great Ormond Street Hospital since being diagnosed in 2011 when she started fainting and turning blue for no reason. After a series of investigations we were told the devastating news she had a rare, progressive and chronic condition. Pulmonary arterial hypertension. We were given a 3 to 5 year prognosis as her heart was already enlarged and under strain. Despite this after a cocktail and medications her condition was stabilised and she is defying the odds 8 years on. So money for this little charity is vital as they help fund vital research which is improving the odds for kids like Hannah with new medicines in the pipe line to help the symptoms while we await a cure.

When her friends heard about her charity they decided to support Hannah and in turn PHA UK. Which means a lot to us and Hannah. 

So togeather the 8 girls and a (wheelchair) will be taking on this 6 mile challenge togeather and if anyone could sponsor the girls no matter how small we would all be very grateful.
