In memory of Doreen Annabel

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Doreen Annabel died on 28 December 2018, after suffering a severe stroke. In her last years she had dementia, which took so much of her quality of life and her opportunity for enjoyment. We want to remember her as she was before this disease took over, as a funny, warm, forthright, stubbornly independent person. She was a musician, a piano teacher, a singer, a voracious reader, a traveller, a gardener, a jigsaw puzzler and fan of TV detective dramas. She was a much loved mum and grandma, and will also be remembered with affection and gratitude by generations of her pupils.
Dementia is cruel both to sufferers and to their families. In Doreen's memory, we want to support the Alzheimer's Society which campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today. We're very grateful for all your donations.
