Founded in 1992, The Fremantle Trust is a registered charity and not for profit organisation providing first class care and support services that enhance the quality of life of over 1,900 older people and adults with learning disabilities.

Story

Dorothy died peacefully on Sunday 1st March 2020.

In lieu of flowers, if anyone wishes to make a donation, these can be made to The Fremantle Trust.

This charity runs Farnham Common House who looked after Dorothy since October 2017. Any funds raised will go towards their entertainment budget which provides singers to entertain their residents. This always gave Dorothy such great joy when she lived there. You can make a donation here.

Her funeral will be held on Monday 16th March 2020.

First, we will gather at Amersham Crematorium, Whieldon
Lane, Amersham HP7 0ND for a religious service and the committal at 1:30pm.

Afterwards, we will celebrate Dorothy’s life with a ‘Musical
Tea’ where we will remember her life through memories and songs. This will be held at Hazlemere Golf Club, Penn Road, Hazlemere, High Wycombe HP15 7LR.

Dorothy loved people wearing bright coloured clothing, so
this is welcomed for her funeral. Her favourite colours were turquoise or
purple.
