October is Lupus Awareness Month and we want to help raise some money and awareness to help fight this incurable disease that affects sufferers' lives in so many different ways.

Lupus is an unpredictable illness - some days we feel fine, others not so good. In light of this, we, as a local group wanted to support each other and raise some money collectively rather than as individuals. We have arranged a Sponsored Walk along Weymouth Sea Front on 6th October starting at 1.30pm. Our aim is to complete  up to 5 miles, however if there are people on the day who arent feeling up to it there is a shorter 2.5 mile route.

This is not about distance but the effort involved as many people who are aware of the illness will understand - 2.5 miles is nothing to some people but much much more to us!
