Story

Dottie came in to the care of Hope Rescue as a stray. She is a 5 year old Yorkie who weighs barely 1.6 kg. She has little hair and  a terrible skin condition. Her chest is awful and wheeezy, she has a nasty cough and is very weak and wobbly. Her x-rays show an enlarged heart and she has already started medication for this. Her blood tests also show she has a massive infection in her lungs so she is also on antibiotics. She also has an eye infection so has antibiotic eye drops. Whilst she is incredibly frail , the vets are astounded by how strong she is for such a teeny scrap. She isn't out of the woods yet and will need close monitoring by the vets, but we are quietly cautious.

Dottie's vet bills are likely to reach around £500, in addition she will need to stay on her heart medication. We have some very large bills at the moment at Hope Rescue so would be grateful for any donations towards these costs.
