Our father was proud to be a life member of the Royal Institution and was passionate about their outreach work, notably the Christmas Lecture series for children, and we have heard from many friends whose children he enabled to attend the lecture series, as well as our own. 

We hope that donations will be earmarked for this work, and in particular, to facilitate access for children from disadvantaged communities (as he was himself).
