I don't believe ability or disability should define you. I'm undertaking a series of challenges this summer to demonstrate what can be achieved.

The way in which I take on these challenges might be non standard but my goals are identical to everyone else.   

The first event was a half iron man triathlon in the Cotswolds, next is the Bolton iron man, then the Paratri event at Eton Dorney, the Great North Run and to round up the summer the Arch to Arch.... 

The Arch to Arc is essentially an epic triathlon - running (racing wheelchair) from Marble Arch to Dover then swimming the Channel and (hand)cycling to the Arc de Triomphe. I'm doing this as part of a 6 person team - we all do an hour of work then have 5 hrs off - I realise doctors have got pretty bad press recently but this is epically tough... the official page is http://campaign.justgiving.com/charity/helpforheroes/archtoarc

I've spent the last year training for this so it would be amazing to raise a few pennies in recognition. I'm hugely grateful to my wheelchair racing club - the Coventry Godivas Wheelchair Racing Club. If you'd like to donate to them instead just drop me a line.
