<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Having decided to run my first (and, perhaps, last!) marathon, I wanted to raise as much money as possible for two good causes. I have chosen to raise funds for the following charities - The Thames Valley Hospice and The Royal British Legion. The Hospice provides an outstanding level of care for many people in East Berkshire and, in particular, I know of the quality of the service that many of my constituents have received. It deserves all of the support it can get.</p> <p>The Royal British Legion undertakes wonderful work supporting members and ex-members of our Armed Forces. At a time when our troops are fighting in Afghanistan and elsewhere, I believe it is a very worthy cause to support.
