Drew's Mont Ventoux Cycling Challenge

Drew's Mont Ventoux Cycling Challenge · 12 July 2014
As part of his Bar Mitzvah project, Drew (with me in tow) will be cycling up (and down) the mighty Mont Ventoux, known as the 'Beast of Provence'.
He'll be taking the most famous and difficult ascent, South from Bédoin which is over 21km long and reaches a height of almost 2000m. The road to the summit has an average gradient of 7.43% and the last kilometres goes up to 12% as well as being battered by strong winds of over 100kph. It will be a test of both his physical and mental strength.
He is raising money for Magic Breakfast, a charity that delivers free, healthy breakfasts to UK primary schools in deprived areas where many children start the day too hungry to learn.
Magic Breakfast provides a healthy breakfast to more than 8,500 children each morning as essential fuel for learning. This improves their attendance, punctuality, concentration and behaviour. All for just 22p a day.
To Drew, breakfast is the most important (and favourite) meal of the day and is something he can almost take for granted. Please support Drew in this important cause by donating whatever you can so he can help to provide the fuel for other children to start their days as positively as he does.Charities pay a small fee for our service.
